Kate White is a nonbinary folk-rock artist local to Boston, MA. Originally from Oceanside, CA, they are currently pursuing a degree in music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music. Their music combines the lyricism of folk music with the aesthetics and sounds of rock, creating an enticing experience for all listeners. Rawness is their game - they aim to illuminate human struggles and make the audience feel less alone.

They began writing music in high school, with every song growing out of a poem. They taught themself guitar and used the instrument to express their deep emotions, matching their thought-provoking lyrics. Kate's knowledge of transformation is deep because of their classical training and experience, leading to informed decisions on song content and arrangements.

Official Music Video for "did it make you feel better?"

I had the pleasure of working on this project with two Emerson students - Alex Levesque and Leo Bocock.

I want to thank them tremendously for the effort they put into this music video, and I hope you enjoy!
